Inaugurated by Hon'ble Executive Director Dr PP Joshi in the presence of Medical Superintendent, Dr Seema Parvekar, the Green LASER machine in the Dept of Ophthalmology is yet another much awaited addition to the list of specialized Retina services offered by the Dept especially to Diabetic patients with Retinopathy in addition to those with other conditions like sickle cell retinopathy, venous occlusions, high myopes with retinal thinning/ holes and more so, for neonates with Retinopathy of Prematurity.

This LASER is also equipped with SLT, a new technology in the management of Glaucoma.
